TERRA VITIS

For 20 years, actions and not just words: Transparency!

In 2001, we obtained the TERRA VITIS certification and have remained committed to its values since then.

"Terra Vitis®, the signature of French winegrowers who respect nature, people and wines"

Terra vitis is an approach meeting the criteria of sustainable development. It ensures the food safety of the product and respect for the environment but also the well-being of our employees.

From the vine to the bottle, we ensure the transparency of our interventions and our practices: this is traceability, controlled by an independent certification body ensuring the strict compliance with the specifications.

This requirement in the Terra Vitis® certification is recognised by the Ministry of Agriculture and HVE (High Environmental Value) certification level 2.

DEPHY FARMS NETWORK

Since 2013, we have been part of this network of committed farmers in collaboration with technicians from the chamber of agriculture.

One of the components actions in the Ecophyto plan, the DEPHY package aims at testing, promoting and deploying agricultural techniques and systems which reduce the use of phytosanitary products while promoting economically, environmentally and socially efficient techniques. The system is based on a national network covering all production sectors and mobilizing partners in research, development and transfer.

The DEPHY FARMS NETWORK brings together more than 3,000 farms engaged in a voluntary process to reduce the use of pesticides.

LOGO HVE

CERTIFIED HIGH ENVIRONMENTAL VALUE HVE level 3

In December 2019, in line with its environmental approach over 20 years, FAMILLE BONNIN obtained the HVE level 3 certification.

HVE corresponds to the most demanding level of environmental certification system for farms.

The environmental certification of agricultural enterprises is a voluntary process aimed at identifying and promoting practices which can be implemented by farmers and are strictly respectful of the environment. It focuses on four key themes:

  • preservation of biodiversity
  • phytosanitary strategy
  • fertilization management
  •  water resource management.

The third level or "high environmental value" is based on the results of indicators. The certification of the farm, which allows products to be labelled "from a high environmental value farm", guarantees a high level of environmental performance of the agricultural enterprise.
