Our Heritage
In 1920, the Derouet-Bonnin family settled in the village of Loges, in Martigné-Briand, at the heart of the Coteaux du Layon and Anjou vineyards. There, they planted their very first vines and built a modest winemaking cellar… The adventure had begun.
The estate grew steadily after the Second World War under the care of Joseph and Aline, who expanded the vineyards and strengthened the family legacy. In the 1970s and 1980s, Christian and Thérèse carried the domaine to new heights, establishing its reputation for authenticity and quality.
In 2000, Jean-Christian, heir to four generations of Angevin winegrowers, and Sophie, originally from the South of France, completed their oenology studies and took over the estate together. Ambitious and forward-thinking, they set out to craft wines that honor tradition while embracing innovation.
With humility, hard work, and passion, each generation has believed deeply in the richness of this land. Thanks to this devotion, the story continues to unfold…
